Notification of Customs Adjustment for e-Transport to Romania in Europe

Dear Customer,

To comply with the latest regulations of Romania’s e-Transport requirements, we hereby inform you that effective from July 1, 2024, all outgoing orders destined for Romania must be accompanied by a Unique Transport Identification (UIT) code for customs clearance and subsequent processes.

The following scenarios require the UIT code:

1. Orders with actual shipping dates on or after July 1, 2024.

2. Shipments originating from countries other than Romania and destined for Romania.

3. Orders weighing over 500 kilograms or with a value exceeding 2000 euros (meeting either of these criteria).

Important Notes:

1. Failure to provide a valid UIT code upon arrival in Romania may result in significant fines or even the return of the shipment.

2. We advise customers to verify with recipients before placing orders whether they have the capability to obtain a UIT code and complete the customs clearance process. Failure to do so may affect final delivery.

3. For details regarding the application of UIT codes, please contact your account manager or customer service.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
