Australia Post will continue to offer its carriage of perishable foods across its delivery network beyond 30 June 2021, establishing an industry forum, jointly led with Small Business Ombudsman, Bruce Billson.

The forum, with representation of producers, will collaborate on possible solutions to the complex regulatory requirements imposed on Australia Post when moving these goods through the parcels network.

Australia Post remains committed to supporting our customers who have experienced increased demand as a result of moving to online services during COVID-19.
